ProjectsGirl's 1st Birthday!

I started this blog exactly one year ago! As of right now, this is my 44th post! (Who knows if I might delete some later.) I have learned so much about blogging this past year. For example, photography is one thing. Here is a photo from one of my first posts. It was taken with an iPhone and no natural light.
Here is one of my most recent photos:
I've changed my logo several times too.

We also had LOTS of birthdays.
We also had another baby!
For me, it seems like a long time that I've been blogging. But really, this blog is still young, compared to most other blogs.

How to Make a GIF

Want to learn how to make a GIF? Here's how!

First, you need to figure out what you are going to make your GIF of. I designed the "How to make a GIF" GIF above on PicMonkey. You can make your own, or take pictures. Here's an example of one I made of Selah:
Go to www.myspacegens.com. Hover your mouse over "Generators" and click "Animated GIF Editor." Enter you dimensions of your picture. Click "Add", ctrl-click your pictures, and click "Upload." After they upload, drag them to make them in the right order.
I found the default setting, 500ms, is the perfect duration for these pictures. You can change it if you want it to go faster or slower. Now click submit. You have to wait a little to for it to load, but they let you play "Simon" while you wait. Just be prepared to be interrupted in the middle of your game. If you are not happy with the results, they allow you to go back and edit it. If you like the way it looks, click "upload" and save it to your computer!
Please comment below if you have any questions!

Soccer Cake and Christian's 12th Birthday

This post is late. Christian turned 12 on March 23rd and it is April 9th right now.

Christian loves soccer, and he is really good at it!
Christian wanted me to make him a soccer cake.
It is really simple to make. First you need a 9x13 inch cake.
Frost your cake in a thin layer of white called the crumb coat. This will seal in all the crumbs. Then frost it in green.
Pipe lines on it with white frosting.
I made him a soccer ball out of homemade fondant. Go over to Cake Central to veiw the tutorial. (The only difference with theirs and mine is that I made mine waaaaay to big.)

And you're done!
Happy Birthday Christian!
