Filming for the Brazilian Show, ''Programa da Sabrina''

Ok, so this post is a little late, but earlier this month, we had a film crew from Brazil come and film our large family for the show, "Programa da Sabrina." My 2nd cousin Danilo was the director.
From left to right: Me, Rebecca, JL, Christian, Sabrina, Rachael, and Nico
They filmed us Friday and Saturday. On Friday, they filmed us going to the store to get things for Saturday's BBQ. They also filmed us eating Papa Murphy's Pizza.
On Saturday, we had four families over for the BBQ.
It was Mrs. Foster's birthday the day before, Miss Sabrina and I made a cake (I taught her) and sang "Happy Birthday."
We played lots of soccer (My team won.)
We had a great time eating, laughing, talking, and playing.

Make-It-Up Cheese Sauce

So, what do I mean by "make it up?" It means what it means! It's cheese sauce that you add whatever ingredients you have! I'll give you some tips and pics, so let's get started!

So, what I do is add all kinds of dairy products, mostly cheese, and mix and melt everything on a pan.
I add things like cheese, milk, heavy cream, butter and flour (even though that is not a dairy product, it is used to help make it thick. One Tbls. is good).
As you can see, the cheese is melting and making a sauce.
The white is heavy cream. I decided to make letters as I poured it in.
Letter H
Can you find MTS (my initials)?
Top it on your favorite pasta, and you are done! The best part is that the sauce tastes different every time!

Did your cheese sauce turn out well?

Fun at the Foster's House

We went to our dear friends, the Fosters, house yesterday. They also invited the Saints. We had spaghetti for dinner. It was Mr. Fosters birthday, so we had cake for dessert. I took lots of pictures, and I couldn't help but share them!

A Sweet Bundle of Joy

She's here! Olivia Teixeira Seidel, born at home. 7lbs, 12oz. 20" 11:12pm. Aug. 26, 2015.

Sorry this post is a little late. I want to welcome to you our newest addition to our family!

I have an amazing story to tell about her birth.

We were going to do a hospital birth and not a home birth because of insurance reasons. The hospital won't let anybody under twelve in, so 9-year-old Rebecca couldn't be at the birth. My parents were preparing her for the disappointment, but Rebecca kept insisting that God could make a way. Well, on Monday, our midwife from Stuart emailed us and said that she would be in town on Wednesday. If my mom hadn't delivered by then, she could come and naturally induce her. My mom was already overdue, so we didn't know if my mom would make it until Wednesday. Well, she did! And we did a home birth! Oh, the faith of a child. I made a list of what happened at what time:

7:26-midwives arrive
7:39-midwife checks for dilation and she is 5cm.
8:10-started IV
8:17-took cohosh
8:38-started having contractions
8:57-made bed
9:19-active labor, contractions 2 min. apart
9:14-prayer
9:28-filling the tub
9:31-got in tub
11:07-midwife broke water
11:12-Olivia born

Note that all this was PM.

You can read Rebecca tell the story herself HERE.

I would love to hear a God providing story in the comments!
